You Can Hear the Drums and Feel the Heat as Agent Orange Rises to the Surface

Each and every day in veteran blogs, multiple on-line news outlets, and mainstream newspapers, there is coverage of some new discovery of Agent Orange being improperly disposed of. And, reports of discovering new contaminations or cover-ups.

New documents being released inform us of current findings of contamination within the remaining C-123’s fleet that was used during the Vietnam War for Agent Orange spray operations. As of 2010, the Air Force declared ALL of the remaining C-123 planes were contaminated with dioxin. They ordered them destroyed into little pieces and smelted to get rid of the remaining carcinogens.
Their fight never ends. They are fighting for their rightful benefits. Many will die without a resolution to their claims. These are honorable men who gave to their country. They are NOT asking for more than their country promised them.

Isn’t it time we fulfilled our promises?

Agent Orange Korea: Tests show metal where veterans claim to have buried Agent Orange

A joint Investigative team of U.S. and Korean officials found evidence of metal drums buried on a U.S. military base in South Korea. These results are crucial, because they show there is in fact something suspicious in the exact spot where a valley veteran and two other soldiers say they buried Agent Orange in 55-gallon metal drums, three decades ago.

PROOF OF BURDEN SHOULD BE ON THE GOVT: Agent Orange is NOT the Cause of Veterans Health Problems

It’s time for the government to prove to all those afflicted that Agent Orange IS NOT the cause of veterans health problems.

Today, as Lesli’s endless battle with cancer continues, she like many others, has been tossed under the bus. Her injustice, like that being promulgated unto the veteran, is proof the government is doing everything in its power to shed responsibility for caring for those exposed to Agent Orange in spite of “Memo53″ which was written as part of the FECA (Federal Employee Compensation Act). It proclaimed “Gratuitous Entertainers With The Armed Forces Professional Entertainment Program Overseas” (that was Lesli) would be considered “employees” for the purposes of the FECA and, while on tour with the Armed Forces Entertainment Program, would be entitled to benefits under the Act in the event of death or disability.” Right…just like the promises made to all the veterans.

Let’s put the shoe on the other foot and require the government to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that Agent Orange and other toxins to which military personnel were exposed, are not the root cause of the medical problems. That would seem to be the fair way to administer justice.
