Military Discount Finder is the online community dedicated to sharing military discounts for active duty Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard as well as reserves, guardsmen, veterans, law enforcement, first responders and dependents. 



2)  Veterans Eat Free at These Restaurants on Veterans Day 2013 

America will celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th this year, and many local restaurants and restaurant chains will be offering discounts and free meals to veterans and active duty military in appreciation for their service.




EVENTS

1)  Veterans Day Events at the Veterans Guest House

A few events are scheduled on Monday at the Veterans Guest House to help celebrate the men and women who serve our country.

From 9am-10am, there will be an Agent Orange event to acknowledge the effects of Agent Orange on veterans. The ceremony is part of a national one that culminates with the release of orange balloons at 9:30am.

 

2)  Reminder of Agent Orange's impact

The Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans will host a balloon release ceremony in memory of those affected by Agent Orange in Vietnam. It happens Monday night at 800 Coates Ave. in Bristol Township.

VA Backlog to be Honored on Veterans Day

Paperwork, USA - On November 11, 2013, the United States will be honoring its myriad heroes: the fallen fighters, the surviving soldiers, and the longest-surviving paperwork this country has ever seen. This year, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be honored for vehemently doing nothing about its piles and piles of disability claims.
 
"These are the guys that deserve to be recognized"” said one veteran. "I only served in Afghanistan for 4 years. These claims, though--they’ve been serving that one tiny office for longer than I’ve been alive"”
