America will celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th this year, and many local restaurants and restaurant chains will be offering discounts and free meals to veterans and active duty military in appreciation for their service.
EVENTS
1) Veterans Day Events at the Veterans Guest House
A few events are scheduled on Monday at the Veterans Guest House to help celebrate the men and women who serve our country.From 9am-10am, there will be an Agent Orange event to acknowledge the effects of Agent Orange on veterans. The ceremony is part of a national one that culminates with the release of orange balloons at 9:30am.
The Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans will host
a balloon release ceremony in memory of those affected by Agent Orange
in Vietnam. It happens Monday night at 800 Coates Ave. in Bristol
Township.
