WELCOME HOME: New local chapter for Vietnam veterans
Vietnam War veteran John Paul Gallagher was told by fellow military personnel in 1970 to take off his Air Force uniform and wear civilian clothes to avoid being spit upon when he arrived in the U.S.
"No one welcomed us home,” said Gallagher, who served 26 years in the Air Force, including in Desert Storm in 1992. “We were called baby killers"”

I was spit on in 1968 in Washington DC and had dog shit thrown on me outside of Ft.Dix NJ..
