If you’ve been exposed to Agent Orange, apply to the VA

Recently, I received a news clipping that reported that between 1956 and 1984 soldiers who trained at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown in New Brunswick, Canada were probably exposed to Agent Orange. The Canadian Department of National Defense finally admitted to spraying 3.3 million liters of the nasty stuff “to test its effectiveness.”

Really? It took them almost 30 years to figure out it was effective? This has the potential of affecting thousands of Canadian, American and British soldiers who trained there.

The VA is encouraging veterans interested in applying for disability compensation under one of the three new Agent Orange presumptives to go online to www.fasttrack.va.gov, or to call 800-827-1000.
