Korean War veterans : Agent Orange medical benefits more available.

Agent Orange medical benefits more available.

The Department of Veteran Affairs has changed the law that forced Korean War veterans to show proof that they were exposed to Agent Orange during their service.

Now, certain veterans that served in the war will not be required to show proof of their exposure. The new law extends the assumed time period of exposure to April of 1968 to Aug. of 1971.
Although it only extends the time period for one month, more military personnel can now receive the medical treatment they need as a result of being exposed to Agent Orange.
