Agent Orange's unending war: Connie Schultz

Agent Orange's unending war: Connie Schultz

Missing in that announcement was anything close to an apology for making those particular Vietnam era veterans wait more than 40 years for any acknowledgment that they had been exposed to Agent Orange and denied crucial medical coverage.

Not that you'll hear any complaints from them. When it comes to expectations, Vietnam veterans have learned to set the bar low.

IT DOES KEEP ON GIVING THROUGH EVERY GENERATION. CAUSES MANY BIRTH DEFECTS. THERE IS NO ONE FROM THE VA THAT CAN SYMPATHIZE WITH THESE VETS CAUSE THEY NEVER WENT BUT CAN MAKE A JUDGEMENT ON OTHER MEN. NEEDLESS TO SAY IF ANY OF THESE VETS WERE AFFECTED YOU CAN BET ON IT THAT LEGISLATION WOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH YEARS AGO. NO PRESIDENT OR ANY OF THEIR FAMILY HAVE GONE. I DONT SEE A SYMPATHETIS EAR OUT THERE. THEY ARE DYING OFF AT EARLY AGES . WHY ISNT THERE ANYONE OUT THERE TO HELP THESE CHILDREN THAT CONTINUE TO SUFFER FROM THEIR FATHERS AND MOTHERS.
