VA Goes Live With Dashboard Comparing Facilities' Quality, Safety Goals and Progress
The Veterans Affairs Department will provide an online tool veterans can use to compare the agency's 153 hospitals, similar to the Hospital Compare website, according to a Government Health IT news report.
The dashboard will allow patients and their families to see how the hospitals perform according to acute-care, patient safety and intensive care quality indicators at the VA's Hospital Compare website, according to the report.
