Updated : 12:26 PM, 11/26/2009

A website www.cuocsongvantuoidep.vn has been set up for people who need to access domestic and foreign benefactors.

The website has been put together by the VTV4, the CMC Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Arts, Communications and Investment Company.

Bach Ngoc Chien, head of VTV4, Vietnam Television, said that the website will be launched on December 3 to coincide with a charity concert.

The website aims to improve the lives of disabled and Agent Orange victims across the country. On a map of Vietnam, Agent Orange victims will be coloured orange and disabled people grey.

The names and addresses of the disabled and Agent Orange victims will be provided by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, humanitarian organisations and individuals.

When disabled and Agent Orange victims receive support, grey and orange will turn to green to indicate a brighter life.
